Facials are a great deep cleansing treatment for those with problematic blackheads and whiteheads. The esthetician begins by removing all makeup and then cleansing with the appropriate cleanser. Next, the skin is exfoliated by using a gentle scrub. Extractions may be done right after. Warm, steamed towels are used to open pores and make extractions easier. The third step is the massage which is the most relaxing. It includes the face, neck and shoulders. A customized mask is then applied in accordance with the client's skin type. Moisturizer and sunscreen is the final step of the facial.
